Maybelline Colossal Kajal
Let’s start with the most basic one! This one yellow stick almost took the entire market by storm when it was launched. Maybelline New York Colossal Kajal comes in a twist up stick which worked great for me at least. It promises to offer smudge-free black eyes for hours. And trust me, it actually does! With just one smooth stroke, it glides quite easily on your eyes along with giving a decent black line all the way. Budget-friendly, easy to apply and most importantly, smudge-free, this one is a sure shot for all the kajal lovers. Click the image below to buy it.
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal soon got released after the Colossal launch and like its competitor, it soon became one of the best kajals under 500 INR among the masses and for many, an instant favourite. It claims to be equally smudge-proof and water-proof for hours. Exactly, like the Colossal, this one too comes in a twisted pencil which further makes it easy to apply. The kajal is quite creamy and soft which makes it adorbs for many. And yes, this can also be used as an eyeliner. So, a pretty good choice for the busy ladies out there. Himalaya Herbal Kajal
I remember this was the one when I wanted to get away from the pencil ones for a while! The best part of this and of course, all the Himalaya products is the natural ingredients. Likewise, Himalaya Herbals Kajal too is one of the best kajals under 500 because of its natural ingredients like castor oil, almond oil, camphor, damask rose and triphala. Believe it or not, every time I applied it, my eyes actually felt cool!
However, the only problem that I personally felt about this product is the nib. The kajal comes in the form of a largely pointed nib which however gets blunt with regular usage.
L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique
If your budget is a bit higher than the above two, opt for L’oreal Paris Kajal Magique. With just one stroke, I actually got a deep jet black line. Apart from the creamy consistency, the real USP that I personally felt about this product is its longevity. It can actually stay for hours and yes, it’s also water-proof. Apart from that, it ingredients made me totally fall for it. L’oreal Paris Kajal Magique has some amazing natural ingredients like cocoa butter as well as olive oil esters. Besides, it also consists of Vitamin E that makes it a healthy option too. I also used it as an eyeliner and totally LOVED it! Click the image below to buy it.
Plum Natur Studio All-Day-Wear Kohl Kajal
Offering a 100% smudge-proof as well as preservative-free kajal, Plum Natur Studio All Day Wear Kajal can be your choice if you are a vegan. Enriched with the goodness of Vitamin E and filled with natural goodies like rice bran wax and castor oil, this one is actually ophthalmologically approved. It comes in the form of a pencil, something I just totally love and has a typical creamy and seamless texture that helps it glide smoothly on your eyes while staying for at least 10 hrs. Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil
This is my current favourite and I have no idea why I didn’t know about this earlier! Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil comes in a pencil form which means it becomes easier to get a sharper tip. The texture is quite creamy and gel-like and with just one stroke, you can actually get a jet black line. The longevity is around 5-6 hrs, however with the same intensity and blackness. I primarily use it for waterline because for the upper lid I prefer the Maybelline Drama Gel Liner. This one is actually one of the most underrated best kajals under 500 but a must buy.
